"Tape" uses a special weaving technique called double weft. Most woven fabrics have a higher number of warp threads than weft threads. In double weft designs, there are many more weft threads than normal, resulting in patterns with exquisite expression and detail. This shirt was made on a loom designed for weaving ties with fine silk in the warp, and cotton in the weft. The hand feel is sumptuous.
Trim fit. Normal spread collar. Plastic ridged buttons, dyed to match. No pocket. Narrower yoke on back, no pleats. Shallow tail with gusset vents. Professionally dry clean only.
