This is a double layer tie.
The best way to see and understand the ties is to watch the video.
The double layer ties are first printed with a pattern on very
bright silk, and then another layer of black sheer organza silk
is layered on top. It's a bit tricky to sew since the two layers
of silk are very slippery. It's a good thing they are made at
our own factory! The result is a shimmer effect as the bright
print peeks through the sheer layer. The ties are actually
dark and mysterious and nice and narrow now too. This is about
as modern looking as a tie can get.
These are the most exciting ties we've done in a long time. Hope
